High-Performing Teams

“I was introduced to Jigsaw more than 2 years ago and it has been used for even longer at the EGA Training Centre. As learning and development experts we are exposed to so many different matrices that measures every conceivable skill there is. Jigsaw, I found to be an easy and no nonsense tool that comes in very handy for training all levels in the company. It’s easy enough to use with blue collar workers as well as complex enough to use in senior management level training.

Many may argue that it’s too simplistic, however if you look at the science behind it, it is quite comprehensive. I found that it gives you more or less the same outcome as many of the other more complex tools and matrices. It is a simple yet effective tool that brings value to the company by making people more aware of their communication and behavioural preferences.

Here at EGA we use it in Jigsaw at Work, however we do carry over the concepts into our communication training where we refer back to the colour lenses. Some of the participants even went home and implemented what they learned at home to great effect and betterment of their personal relationships. I can strongly recommend Jigsaw as a training tool based on the increased effectiveness in communication I witnessed in the participants. It is also a great teambuilding tool to help teams work together in improving their efficiency in communication and getting the task done.”
